Business Banking Setup
Once RecruitHub confirms that your company is incorporated, you should apply for a business bank account as soon as possible.
A business bank account is required to:
- Meet legal requirements for operating your business
- Keep your business and personal finances separate
- Receive and process any investment funds
Choosing a Bank
RecruitHub does not recommend specific banks. You may want to consider:
- Using the same provider as your personal banking for convenience
- Comparing account fees and services across different providers
- Checking if a multi-currency account is useful for your business
- Considering digital banks (make sure they are fully regulated)
If you plan to use Xero for accounting, confirm that your chosen bank is compatible before you open the account.
